Child care has become increasingly unaffordable, and many centers are struggling to keep their doors open, contributing to the reality that 3 in 5 children are not entering Kindergarten ready to learn. When a center closes, families lose reliable care, parents are unable to work, and children miss out on critical early learning opportunities. That’s why this work matters now more than ever.
